Background:

Johan joined RTS as the Lead Developer in 2024. With eight years of experience as a full-stack developer in the health technology sector, he has led the creation of custom software solutions for medical applications. At RTS, Johan oversees technology development, managing everything from web applications to database systems and infrastructure. As the sole developer on the team, Johan works closely with the other team members to enhance the RTS platform for athletes and coaches alike.

As a powerlifter himself, Johan has been part of the RTS lifter community since 2018 and is the current WPC European Equipped Champion 2024. He has also competed at WPC Worlds twice and at the prestigious Irish Pro Invitational. Beyond his achievements on the platform, Johan has completed the Emerging Strategies course and has experience coaching lifters, blending his passion for strength sports with a deep understanding of training methodologies.

Johan is dedicated to developing innovative tools and infrastructure that support RTS lifters and coaches, bringing together his technical expertise and personal experience in powerlifting to help the community thrive.
